Description |
We currently have space available for ten (10) motivated and enthusiastic young people to start a one-year apprenticeship programme in August 2009.
Our apprentices work in outdoor activity leadership, helping to release the potential in thousands of children and adults who use our facilities every year.
Ideal candidates for the position will have an interest in outdoor activities and working with children, a desire to develop personal leadership skills, and an open attitude to the Christian ethos of the organisation.
Apprentices live on-site in our dormitory-style residence blocks. Room, board, and a weekly bursary are provided; possibilities of a fixed-term contract and salary offered in a second year for 4 ongoing participants.
The Apprenticeship Scheme is open only to UK residents 18-24 years old. Other positions may be available for internationals; please visit www.actioncentres.co.uk or www.go-gap.com for more information on these. |
