Description |
‘Observe, Understand and Apply’. These three words sum up the heart of School of the Word (SOTW). Our passion is to see you delve deep into the treasures of the Bible and let God’s Word speak for itself. The Bible is about real people in real places with real problems and you will graduate the year having a greater understanding of the whole counsel of God. The year is designed to allow the Word to challenge you and build solid biblical foundations in your life in order to grow you into the mature son or daughter God has called you to be.
As Christians, we believe the Bible is God’s revelation to us and we will show you how to inductively unpack its sixty-six books in-depth, helping you to observe and understand its message and practically apply it to your life. The course comprises of a variety of lecturers and a range of fun, challenging and practical projects and trips, including a highly recommended tour of the Holy land! By the end of the year you will have written your own commentary and be equipped with the tools for a lifetime of exploring and applying the eternal truths of the Word! |
