Description More than ever, people are looking for a place to belong – a community that they can be a part of. What better way to reach people in the UK with the gospel than to become a part of their community, living where they live, walking on the same streets? When you join OM Lifehope’s Community Encounter you will become part of an international team, working closely with a UK church to reach out to the local community. You will meet people from all kinds of backgrounds with all kinds of faiths and beliefs. You will learn how to share the love of Christ through making friendships, serving people and giving opportunities for them to hear the gospel. During this time, you will deepen your faith, live alongside Christians from all over the world and learn how to effectively share your faith with others. Our training includes our "Toolkit" induction training, an adventure week for team building and leadership development, and regular training weeks.
