Methods of instruction The seminary course is a mixture of independent study online, including weekly interactions with your tutor group via discussion forums. The independent study is a mixture of reading the unit material, set-texts, reflection and exercise questions. During the year you meet up with your tutor group 5 times for seminar days. These are an opportunity for fellowship with your fellow students and discuss assignments with a tutor involved in ministry. Three times a year we hold residentials, a week long one to start off the year and another week long one to finish off the year. There is a shorter more intensive residential in the winter. These are opportunities to interact with the rest of the student body and have teaching from the Crosslands faculty and tutors to introduce or finish modules that will/have been studied during the year.
