Description |
The student will use the basic principles of Bible study already introduced in BIBL201.
The student must read the book of Romans at least twice in advance.
This course should enable the student to do the following:
Be able to take into consideration the context (Biblical, historical, cultural and linguistic) of the original message.
Understand the implications of the fall of man: guilt and lack of merit before God.
Explain the difference between the principle or power of sin and individual sins.
Understand and be able to teach that salvation is based solely on the merits of Jesus Christ.
Explain the place of the Law.
Understand the relationship between justification, sanctification, and glorification. |
