The Nature of God.
Understand that there is one God, who is spirit, infinite, eternal, omnipotent.
The Trinity: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. One God in 3 persons: their relationship to each other and their respective roles.
Be able to explain why the doctrine of the Trinity is not a blasphemy.
Examine and understand some divine attributes in the light of Scripture: God as Father, holiness, immanence (God near and with us), mercy, love (agape and parental), humility, truth (faithfulness to His promises). |
